On August 2, 2025, three male junior and senior high school students aged 14 to 15 were arrested for throwing several raw eggs at a police box in Kita Ward, Nagoya, obstructing police officers' work.

Three men were arrested on suspicion of intimidation and obstruction of business: a 15-year-old male high school student living in Kita Ward, and two male junior high school students, aged 15 and 14, both living in Nishi Ward.

According to police, the three men are suspected of throwing several raw eggs into the Nyoi Police Box in Kita Ward in the early hours of August 2nd, obstructing police officers in their duties.

At the time, there was no one in the room where the raw eggs were thrown, but when officers returned, they noticed raw egg shells scattered on the window glass and floor. Police subsequently identified the three men through an investigation of security camera footage.

During questioning, all three men have admitted to the charges. One of the boys stated, "We were just having fun playing a game where the police chase us."

The following day, a raw egg was also thrown at a police box in Nishi Ward, Nagoya. Police are investigating whether this is related.
