A large number of Japanese Self-Defense Force and police uniforms are being listed on a Chinese flea market app.

[Photo] Self-Defense Force and Japanese police uniforms on a flea market app.

A city council member from Nara City, Nara Prefecture (Prime Minister Takaichi's birthplace) claimed, "[Urgent] A large number of Self-Defense Force and police uniforms (both real and replica) are currently being listed on a Chinese flea market app. We must take action before the number of Chinese people causing trouble in Japan increases." He attached an image that appears to be from the app in question.

Several items claiming to be Japanese Metropolitan Police Department uniforms have been listed. Descriptions are written in Chinese and Japanese.

In a subsequent post, the council member wrote, "Last year, someone dressed as a member of the Self-Defense Force appeared on the Noto Peninsula."

A Nara City Council member posted on his account, "The Japanese police and Self-Defense Forces are being looked down upon. They will surely be exploited by the Chinese."

These posts have drawn responses such as, "I see! So that's why there's been such an explosion in special scams involving people pretending to be police officers," "Where are they coming from?", "Why are Japanese police uniforms in circulation?", "They can be used for crimes as much as you want," and "What will happen if they are used for crimes?"

The Chinese are also circulating counterfeit coins, and they're planning to destroy Japan from within.

In a pro-Japanese country, it would be unavoidable, but in that country, it's just terrifying.

>"I'm worried that elderly people in rural areas might be fooled if these fake police officers in uniforms came to their homes."
Well, speaking of being fooled by rumors and lies, I'm referring to Japanese people who lie as easily as breathing out of court, the founder of a group that has been convicted of anti-social cults, and a former NHK employee.

The driver and secretary joined forces with the LDP in the House of Councillors.

Comment on the arrest of Takashi Tachibana: "I don't have any particular feelings." When asked if they were close friends, he replied, "When did they become close friends?"

> Yuta Misaki hints at retirement from influencer status. "This will be my final message."
In response to the question, "Didn't he quit social media?", he responded, "He never said he was quitting," and "Some people have poor reading comprehension."

> Nara City Council Member. Announces retirement from social media. "I'm going back to being an ordinary person. I was causing trouble for people and it was painful enough to kill me."

Retracts retirement from social media. "I'll retire 30 more times and come back," "When I retire, it's time to die."

Some people are fooled by these online scum.

There's a big difference between Japanese people wearing it as cosplay and Chinese people wearing it.
I can already imagine Chinese people wearing Self-Defense Force or police uniforms appearing around nuclear power plants and military bases in the event of an emergency.

Apparently, they get stolen at laundromats and the like.
But if you stay until the end, you'll be suspected of being an underwear thief.

There are all kinds of corporate uniforms, but the ones stolen from companies full of non-regular employees like postal and courier workers are often used for robbery and rape.

Mass retailers with high traffic are prone to shoplifting with stolen designer jackets.

When they're filled with non-regular employees, it's hard to tell who's a real employee.

The "regulars" disappear.

it's because they have no choice but to do so for security reasons.

Actually, even assembly members are using this.

In a certain prefectural assembly, there was a pure gold assembly member badge, and when the price went up, they checked the returned items and found that they were fake.

Apparently, the prefectural assembly's mutual aid society ordered and distributed replicas "to prevent them from getting lost."

The assembly member "accidentally" returned the replica and kept the pure gold badge at home.

In other words, all government officials who use this kind of thing are potentially spies.

[70% of 14-karat gold assembly member badges not returned]
Toyama Prefectural Assembly is considering changing the material.

If someone wears this assembly member badge and makes an appointment to inspect a facility, an imposter could infiltrate the police or something.

Assembly members would be familiar with the inspection procedures, and if they could get a high salary for it, I think an assembly member who loves slush funds would do it.

If it's a replica, there's nothing you can do about it being made overseas and sold.
Using it in Japan is a crime.
If the problem is the leaking of real items (including used ones), then the person who leaked them should be subject to enforcement.

I've seen it at a Japanese recycling shop run by a Chinese person.
It was old, so I think it was probably the property of a veteran, but I don't know if it was authentic.
Many of the Chinese antiques listed on Mercari and Yahoo! Auctions in Japan are replicas intended as souvenirs for tourist destinations.

The average person wouldn't be able to tell the difference, so there's value in reporting on it.
It would be fine to report it so people could tell the difference, but that would increase the accuracy of replica dealers, so that's also a problem.
Amazon asked manufacturers to teach them how to distinguish counterfeits as a way to combat them, but they refused.
Of course they can't tell a platform that's become a quasi-counterfeiter.
